Continuing on with features from British Vogue's Fantastic Fashion Fantasy issue, Karl Lagerfeld treats us to a series of paintings in which he imagines events (with the Batman movies in mind, it would seem) at the most exclusive party of the year - a ball hosted by an unnamed Russian woman in honour of her billionaire husband. There was no press, no red carpet, no charities involved, and the guest list remains a mystery.

In Celebration of Russian Vogue's 10th Birthday the magazine has asked the biggest design houses in the world to paint their own versions of nesting dolls or matreshkas. Houses like Marc Jacobs, YSL, Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Versace, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, and Giorgio Armani got into Russian spirit for the occasion. On November 20, the one-of-a-kind works were acutioned off for chairty.

I've been looking for clear pictures of the dolls for a while now. this is the best i found.

2 days ago at precisely7:17 am i woke up to the sound of children crying. they told me my grandmother was dying.

i didn't hesitate and i put my abaya and sheila on. ran downstairs, outside the kitchen door, and to her house next door.

i don't exaggerate when i tell you this. it was exactly like what you see in the movies. like those scenes that show you a black second then a shot of people screaming, another black second of paramedics, another black second, then people waiting, black second, CPR, black second people crying.
it was silent. it was sudden.
she has been sick for a very long time, and everyone knew this day was coming. it was a shocking morning, filled with sorrow, but i know now it was for the better.

i wish i was there for her more.

what was beautiful was the dream my great aunt had of her brother, ( my grandfather ) who passed away 38 years ago, running after a young women. while my aunt told him to let her be. this is the dream she had only a few hours before my grandmothers death.
He has been waiting for her for 38 years!

لماذا هي سيدة آي القران ؟

· هي القاعدة الأساسية للدين لما فيها من توحيد خالص.

· وهى أشرف آية في القرآن.

· بها خمسون كلمة ... وفى كل كلمة خمسون بركة.

· وهى تعدل ثلث القرآن.

· هي آية جمعت أكثر من 17 أسم من أسماء الله الحسنى.

متى نزلت ؟

· نزلت ليلاً.

· ولما نزلت خر كل صنم في الدنيا.

· وكذلك خر كل ملك في الدنيا، وسقطت التيجان عن رءوسهم.

· وهربت الشياطين.

لماذا سميت أية الكرسي ؟

· الكرسي هو أساس الحكم وهو رمز الملك.

· وهى الدالة على الألوهية المطلقة .

· رفعها الله في بدايتها باسمه ( الله ) وفى نهايتها باسمه ( العلى العظيم)

· وهى ترفع معها كل من تعلق بها واستمسك بها ...

· ومن حفظها حفظته ورفعته معها إلى أعلى مقام وأسمى منزلة.

ماذا قال عنها رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم - ؟

( وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ لَهَا لِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ تُقَدِّسُ الْمَلِكَ عِنْدَ سَاقِ الْعَرْشِ )

لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ سَنَامٌ وَإِنَّ سَنَامَ الْقُرْآنِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ وَفِيهَا آيَةٌ هِيَ سَيِّدَةُ آيِ الْقُرْآنِ هِيَ آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ

هل تعلم فضل أية الكرسي ؟

هذه آية أنزلها الله جل ذكره وجعل ثوابها لقارئها عاجلاً واجلاً

فأما في العاجل

· لمن قرأها فى زوايا بيته الأربع تكون للبيت حارسه وتخرج منه الشيطان.

· لمن قرأها ليلا خرج الشيطان من البيت ولا يدخله حتى يصبح و آمنه الله على نفسه.

و هي لمن قرأها...

في الفراش قبل النوم لنفسه أو لأولاده يحفظهم الله لا يقربهم شيطان حتى يصبحوا ويبعد عنهم الكوابيس والأحلام المزعجة.

أ ما فى الآجل

لمن قرأها دبر كل صلاة يتولى قبض روحه الله ذو الجلال والإكرام.

هو اسم الذات العليا ويقال أنه الاسم الأعظم.
وكل الأسماء تابعه إليه على سبيل الوصف ( ولله الأسماء الحسنى )
اسم يتحدى بها الله أن يُسمى به سواه.

( لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ )

هي شهادة منا بالتوحيد الخالص ومحلها القلب.
ولقد أرسل الله جميع الأنبياء عليهم السلام برسالة التوحيد.
جاء النفي في الأول حتى نتخلى عن الكفر والشرك وننظف قلبنا من جميع الآفات لكي توضع كلمة الله على أساس صحيح طاهر خالي من الدنس.
كل حركة في الحياة تؤدى إلى عمار الأرض فهى عبادة والإيمان القوى يثبت أقوال المؤمن وأفعاله فلا تهتز بعد ذلك مع تقلبات الحياة.

what many might not know is that sometimes they use that phrase because that item was never produced beyond the runway.

thick is slick! update your look with thick eyebrows. lately i've been obsessing over thickening my brows with dark eyeshadow and then brushing them to the preffered shape. i don't pluck my eyebrows because of religious reasons, il7mdilla. and neither should you. thick eyebrows glamourize any look. just look at Camilla Belle, and Hilary Rhoda.

to do so you need a thin brush, eyebrow powder and an eyebrow brush.

i think Michelle Obama is going to be a great first lady.
